son of a ….
today i had a huge fight with my scale.
this week, i worked out everyday (turbofire) i counted every dang calorie. i stayed within my calorie limit. i got sleep. i packed lunches and i didn’t cheat with junk food.
i stepped on the scale this morning expecting to lose SOMETHING.
nothing. i gained.
i hopped on and saw 157.5. uh uh. no way. not in my house mister sister scale.
i jogged in place told the scale how much i hated it. flipped it a few hand gestures. did a few more jumping jacks.
jumped on again. 157. okay okay skimmed off half a pound.
went to grab my work out clothes.
pleaded with the scale for a minute. PLEASE i only had ONE glass of wine last night. i counted it in my tracker i didn’t order what i really wanted on the menu i went for the healthier option.
hopped on the scale again. it read, “forget it b*tch, it aint gonna happen this week”. no that’s not really what it said. it really still said 157.
i pouted through my extra long workout this morning and complained to my accountability partner. not going to lie made me feel a little better. but not much.
something changed and these are the only contributing factors that i could come up with.
i had wine (still accounted for it but still had wine)
i went out to eat a few more times than normal (still accounted for it but still went out to eat)
i had frozen yogurt at night (still accounted for it but still had frozen yogurt)
i am a woman and am having being a woman side affects this week.

okay enough with the negative. here is what i DID do.
weighed my food
worked out (turbo fire) every day
counted all calories
packed my lunches
today starts a new week. here’s to a better next friday.
