good morning everyone!
what a beautiful weekend we had and what a beautiful weekend today!
i’m so looking forward to getting outside again and playing before the cold front comes through tonight.
this weekend was another whirlwind of fun.
friday night we got home and went for dinner at salt of the earth in fennville. i know i know i talk about it all the time but you all seriously need to go try it out before memorial day weekend hits and you can’t get a table until fall. we had like 4 different courses of food. we considered it our last meal before the summer busy season. went home and watched the tigers game.
saturday morning i was up bright and early for the zeeland peddlers market (and my last show of the summer!) in the past i’ve sold at 6-7 markets or so throughout the summer and it’s just too much. so two spring, two fall and a harvest and holiday one for the year. i drove the camper by myself for the very first time, backed it in unhooked, hooked it back up (with the help of my friend jess) and drove her home. i only had two woopsies. once when i dragged my hitch on the pavement because the truck was too low. and the table went into my awning as i was backing in. better than jackknifing the side of my truck i guess?
after i got home i took a quick nap and then we made some burgers on the grill and then my weekend ice cream treat.
sunday we “slept in” well i slept until 6am. got some work done on the computer and then joe and i worked on the garden. isn’t he cute on his little tractor? (note: we did not buy a new one, this one is borrowed) and was also a life saver. we tilled up a good portion of the side field and put in 4 garden beds throughout the day. i also cleaned out all my pots and planted a few herb, put a few coats of poly on some chippy furniture and cooked out on the grill again. we were so exhausted by the end of the day that we fell asleep watching the tigers.
hope everyone had a good weekend!0
