It’s spring (kind of) and it’s time for sales, pop up shops and fleas! I am so geeked that we are having the second Black Sheep Farm Pop Up Shop at my house this weekend! The first one we had in November was such a riot and we had so much fun together that 1.) we ended up opening the found cottage and 2.) we knew we had to do a spring one too.
this is not just for vintage lovers! No no we will have all the goods you love at the cottage with special pop up shop additions. Farmhouse style home decor, rad gifts and accessories, handmade jewelry and of course lovely vintage finds. the sale will go from 9am – 1pm saturday may 7. a perfect day trip for you and your mom! (pssst it’s mothers day weekend!)
just a few tips and tricks for the sale this weekend. unlike the fall pop up shop we will have parking all along the side of the road. kind of auction style. no worries we have plenty of room and you are more than welcome to walk through the field. which is why we can’t park in it this spring it’s growing hay for my sheep 🙂 they would not be too happy with me if i destroyed their grub. (and joe wouldn’t be too happy either because then we would have to buy it).
there probably won’t be room for strollers in the barn but we have plenty of room to spread out in the yard so we’ll call this sale somewhat kid friendly (and they are more than welcome to check out the sheep). this sale will be rain or shine and we will be accepting cash or credit cards.
while you are out here are all of the other fun places you should swing in to. this “trail” will bring you all around hudsonville and into grand rapids so feel free to start and stop wherever you would like. i will be listing times everyone is open saturday.
we will start at the barn sale 🙂

after that head to landrys antiques.

from there head to our shop the found cottage.
The Found Cottage – open regularly 2450 Chicago Drive Hudsonville – come and stop by our store for more amazing farmhouse decor, handmade signs and other treasures, baby items, womens clothing and accessories, candles and anything else you could possibly need (except for groceries).
and then… head over to our pals at Rebel Reclaimed
Rebel Reclaimed – open regularly 1409 Robinson Road SE, Grand Rapids MI – you will spend hours here reading hilarious cards, finding unique gifts, and buying more clever coffee mugs that you could possibly ever need. Trust me i bought two more when i went and dropped off fliers yesterday. this is the perfect spot to end up because you can go grab a cold one at terra or harmony brewing both within walking distance of the shop. Bonus: you can hang out with the one and only chip who will be manning the shop that day 🙂
this should fill your saturday right up! We would LOVE to see you out and about supporting all of these amazing shops and local artists. again all of these are Rain Or Shine! See you Saturday!0
