one of the perks of my job is that i can usually park myself wherever i want to to work. when you work with your dad and your husband and your brother sometimes it’s hard to focus and get stuff done. that is when i usually escape to a coffee shop for the day and work away.
i found this place on the Facebook group eatgr. they had great things to say about this little coffee and bake shop off of plainfield in grand rapids. i was not disappointed.
located just off of plainfield ave near the east beltline, silverberry kitchen offers unique small pastries, lattes, mochas and other delicious espresso concoctions as well as a lunch menu.
i got there around 8:30 and kicked things off with a bacon pie and a honey cinnamon miel. omg where has this been all my life!?!?!
my friend and blog designer shawn came and met me for lunch and i had the vegetarian sandwich. it was delicious, roasted peppers, feta, potato focaccia so delicious!
the owner is sweet, friendly and passionate about her business. she has created a cute, quaint and quiet space in the hustle and bustle of plainfield.
they close at 4 and we worked through 2pm. i will def be back!
