The construction dust is literally settling at the shop and we have been able to dedicate some focus back to our website and continue to upload the new arrivals from the store to the site. Last week my pal Ashley and I photographed some of my favorite new arrivals from around the store to feature. I am the buyer for all of our clothing and jewelry at The Found Cottage and have been selling clothing for over ten years. I search high and low for the best, stylish affordable brands available to bring into the shop.
It’s been so fun styling them for the site and in our bright new big beautiful space at the shop. We are slowly inching our way towards normalcy and have been finding new sources for vintage in the shop as well. This week I brought in a few pieces of furniture that were hard to part with but they look so stunning in the shop. The best part of collecting vintage is sharing it with others. I’ll make sure to snap some pictures tonight when we go work at the shop.
The summer styles are full of bright colors and patterns. I LOVE that tie dye is back in style. We have a few t-shirts, dresses and loungewear pieces with different colors mixed in but so far my favorites are the oversized t-shirt dresses (coming soon to the site). Stripes and toile are also big pattern hits so far this summer and we have both patterns in multiple colors and styles. Our clothing ranges from xs – 3xl. I try to shop for different sizes and styles that are flattering for all many body types that come through our door.
This striped seersucker style dress is lightweight and easy to style with a simple jacket or a fun necklace. I like the durable material and wrinkle free style. It does run a tad large and I sized down to a Medium.
This red ruffle sleeved dress also runs just a little bit large and I was able to size down into a medium without losing any length. It is a heavier weight material with a ruffle shoulder detail. The bright orange red matches perfectly to my favorite lipstick (heatwave by nars)
Rompers are the perfect feminine and functional piece. You can still be a lady while shoving a giant cabinet into the back of your truck. This high waisted floral romper is easy to slip into and has a textured detail that makes it dressy for work or perfect for a casual date night.
In addition to clothing we also carry jewelry and accessories. These are the best, durable sunglasses and they are only $12.95! They have a nice weight to them and are available in a few different colors.
To keep our inventory fresh I typically only get 2 of each sizes in per item. When they are gone they are gone so if you see something you like don’t wait! We have so many more items in the shop that we are working diligently on getting to the site. We ship from our instagram as well so do not hesitate to reach out if you see something that is not listed.
