Have I mentioned yet how much I love fall? It love the crisp leaves and the hot cider. Not to mention there are pumpkins for sale in almost every farmers front lawn. I was on my way home from an estate sale and I came across this adorable farm stand so naturally we had to pull over and snap a few photos. Especially because I was wearing my favorite daphne tweed coat from J.crew.

This is going to sound much worse than it actually is but I have this daphne coat in four different colors. I bought them all on sale and the longer you wait throughout the season the more on sale they go. In fact the color I’m wearing was on summer clearance for an extra 70% off in July. It was marked to $40 and in my size so of course I had to snag it. My advice?
Buy the color you have to have right now at 40% and then add the remaining ones to your wish list that way when they have the mega sales you can quick add to cart and snag them for pennies on the dollar.
The thing I like about the Daphne coat is it is a lighter weight coat so it’s nice to wear over sweaters and has a nice tailored, clean cut front to give you shape and definition even with the many layers of winter.
I paired them with the alvin jeans from Sezane and I’m loving how detailed these pants are. They have a denim ruffle above the tie waistband. They’re totally something my mom wore in the 80’s and 90’s but with an updated, modern twist. If you order these, they are true to size and barely stretch which is so nice. I hate it when your pants stretch way too big by the end of the day. I have ordered a few pieces from Sezane now and I’m thrilled with the cut and quality of each item i’ve purchased from here.
