jadeite on parade

i’m not a hoarder… i’m a collector. i’m a collector of vintage table clothes, pyrex, hazel atlas pink dishes, ceramic collies, paint by numbers, wool plaid blankets, plaid metal coolers and jadeite. hey everything has it’s place right!? my jadeite shelves were starting to fill up so i had to make room. heaven forbid i actually get rid of something. i made my third purchase from decor steals a site that offers limited time deals at up to 80% off for farmhouse decor. i thought this plate drying rack shaped like a chicken feeder did the trick! it made me feel like my jadeite was almost on parade!

i was lucky enough to be working at the found cottage the day that allison from the golden sycamore brought in her restock of preserved cotton stems. they kind of fill up the space between the gallery wall and the lower jadeite plate rack.

the chicken picture is actually from an early 1900’s hatchery catalog. i have about 20 prints i am going to frame and eventually make it into a gallery wall. for now though this pair is happy sitting on the table. the frame is from west elm in grand rapids.

clearly i have a thing for green right now. the high gloss table is holding up quite nicely. of course it’s easy to kind of scratch and dent. am i the only one who is a little relieved when the first scratch happens? because i feel like that gives me permission to really use it. lol i know that is so weird but if i am the one who did it..i’m not as mad. does that make any sense?

has anyone else purchased from decorsteals? what are some of your favorite home decor splurge sites?

Great post, I’m obsessed with green all the time! Decor steals had me hooked for awhile.. Purchased wire angel wings as a display piece for jewelry and then a galvanized caddy with divider drawers.
The use for the caddy was to store my small craft items and extra price tags we make up but that hasn’t quite happened yet 🙂

Absolutely love the green. I try to incorporate unexpected pops of color in my home as well! The jadeite is amazing. And the cotton is the perfect pairing!

  3. Love this styling! I adore a fantastic eclectic mix! Some of my favorite online finds have come from One Kings Lane, but I can’t wait to look into Decor Steals!

  4. I love the green table! It’s gorgeous!
